Audient EVO 4 Starter Set – One Knob, One Mic, No Guesswork

A starter kit for people who want to record, not read manuals. The EVO 4 sets its own gain, the X1 A handles voice and guitar amps alike, and the closed Hi-X20 keeps the click out of the mic. Stand and pop filter included, in one order.

In This Setup

  • Audient EVO 4 – 2-in/2-out USB-C interface with two EVO preamps (58 dB gain, 48 V phantom), Smartgain auto-level and Loopback.
  • sE Electronics X1 A – large-diaphragm condenser with a 2/3-inch capsule, pad and low-cut switches; swivel clip and thread adapter included.
  • Austrian Audio Hi-X20 – closed-back over-ear headphones with 44 mm Hi-X drivers, 12 Hz-24 kHz, 25 ohm, fold-flat hinges and a detachable 3 m cable.
  • K&M 210/2 – the classic boom stand: 90-160.5 cm height, 80 cm boom arm and folding legs.
  • sE Electronics Metal Pop Filter – angled metal mesh screen on a flexible gooseneck with universal clamp.
